Fort Bend County Emergency Services District 7 (FBCESD 7, the District) is proud to announce the addition of a new firefighting asset to its fleet: the 2023 Pierce SMEG Saber 2nd Gen Pumper with a 1250 GPM (gallons per minute) pump. This state-of-the-art pumper is set to enhance the District's firefighting capabilities, providing advanced features and improved performance to better serve the community.
Operational Efficiency and Ready Reserve Strategy
With the addition of the new 2023 Pierce SMEG Saber pumper, FBCESD 7 is also implementing a strategic update to its fleet management. The District’s current engine will be transitioned to a ready reserve status.
